Midlife Path brings the right people together for conversations that build relationships and create opportunities.
Better conversations begin with the right people around the table.
Midlife Path designs gatherings around the people, subjects, and objectives that are important now.
We work with expanding and forward-thinking startups, membership organizations, associations, professional services firms, nonprofits, and other growing companies that want to bring people together around a clear objective.
Our work includes peer roundtables, moderated conversations, private dinners, and event surrounds.
We start by considering who should participate, why they should come together, and what the gathering should make possible.
Those questions shape the participant mix, format, setting, introductions, and flow of a gathering.
For Organizations
Midlife Path works with organizations that want to host gatherings to strengthen customer or member relationships, engage prospects, or bring leaders together around a timely subject or objective.
We can lead a gathering from concept through execution, take responsibility for a defined part of an event, or work alongside an internal team across multiple gatherings.
Depending on the engagement, this can include participant planning, program design, event operations, event technology, administration and management of registration and communication systems, or optimization of CRM and participant data structures.
When sales teams already own relationships with prospects or customers, we partner with them to develop the participant mix rather than duplicating those efforts.
For Leaders
Midlife Path also develops gatherings for select leaders.
These may include peer roundtables, moderated conversations, dinners, or other small-format gatherings built around a work in progress, shared challenge, particular topic, or interest.
Some gatherings are designed specifically for senior leaders. Others bring together leaders across functions or industries.
Midlife Path independently develops some. Others are supported by sponsors or organizations whose objectives align with the gathering.
For Women Senior Leaders
Women senior leaders are an important audience for Midlife Path. We are particularly interested in creating small, invitation-based gatherings where women leaders can exchange perspectives on the challenges they are navigating and build relationships with other women leaders across functions and industries.
Why Midlife Path
The people invited to a gathering shape what becomes possible there.
We put care into the research and preparation before people arrive, the questions and format that guide the conversation, and the introductions that can help participants find common ground.
The goal is to bring together people whose perspectives, experience, or interests belong in the same conversation.
Success is also measured by what happens afterward: a relationship that develops, an idea that gets tested, or an opportunity that moves forward.
Midlife Path is based in the New York City area and primarily organizes gatherings in New York City, with select projects in other major U.S. cities.
