Gatherings designed around the people who should be there.

Midlife Path creates gatherings for organizations and select leaders.

We begin with the purpose of bringing people together, then develop the format, participant mix, setting, and conversation around it.

Leadership Gatherings

Small gatherings for leaders who can benefit from exchanging perspectives.

Formats may include:

Roundtables
Small groups built around a focused question, shared challenge, or area of expertise.

Moderated Conversations
Informal interviews or discussions that give participants access to the perspective and experience of a particular leader or subject-matter expert.

Leadership Dinners
Intimate meals that give leaders space for conversation without the structure of a traditional panel or conference session.

Some leadership gatherings are designed specifically for senior leaders. Others bring together leaders across functions or industries around a shared interest.

Presence at Industry Events

Presence around key industry events through private events and side events that complement a conference or trade show.

These may include:

  • breakfasts

  • private dinners

  • executive roundtables

Midlife Path can create a gathering or support a defined part of a larger event program.

Event-Related Projects

Some organizations need help strengthening a particular part of an event or improving overall event operations.

Depending on the project, Midlife Path can provide:

  • gathering and event design

  • participant planning

  • program development

  • event technology implementation

  • administration or management of registration and communication systems

  • optimization of a CRM and participant data structures

Ways to Engage

End-to-end services for a gathering
We can lead the design and execution of a gathering from the initial concept through delivery.

Defined scope for part of an event
If your team already owns the broader event, we can take responsibility for a specific part of the event, such as program design, participant strategy, or management of the event registration and communication systems.

Ongoing event work
For organizations with multiple gatherings or an active event calendar, Midlife Path can work alongside the internal team across multiple projects over a defined period.

What Makes a Gathering Work

The format is only part of it.

We consider:

The people
Who should be there, and why?

The purpose
Why should these people come together now?

The conversation
What is worth discussing now?

The setting
What environment supports the kind of interaction the gathering calls for?

The details
What needs to happen behind the scenes so participants can focus on being there?

What comes next
What relationships, ideas, or opportunities could continue after the gathering?

Current Areas of Interest

We are particularly interested in gatherings around:

  • information security and privacy

  • the practical challenges leaders face in their day-to-day work

  • organizational growth

  • integration of AI and the changing workplace

Topics will evolve based on the people and organizations we bring together.
